SDN is the UK’s solution for Sword Delivery. Currently we operate a single van from our Manchester depot and do one huge loop of the UK every week.

The goal is to build the business so we can add more vans thus making each area smaller. This will improve efficiency.

Why do we need this specialist solution for moving Swords in the UK?

Because the traditional couriers don’t like swords and traditional couriers don’t like long products. So either they flat-out don’t carry them OR if they do carry them there are hefty surcharges if the box length is over 1m.

Essentially Sword retailers are sick off:

How it works

Our van and driver gets on the road every Monday and does a huge loop of the UK. He collects and drops off in the same loop. The parcels he collects het delivered the week after.

It’s that simple.

How much does it cost?

Collection Fee £20 ex VAT (£24 inc VAT). This is per collection.

Delivery Fees

£20 ex VAT (£24 inc VAT) for the first parcel going to a single address

£10 ex VAT (£12 inc VAT) for extra parcels going to the same address.

Examples

⚔️ You’re an individual who needs to send a single sword from Truro to Newcastle. There’s a collection fee of £24 and a delivery fee of £24. Total fee £48 inc VAT

⚔️ You’re an antique dealer who has 3 swords to ship; £20 + VAT collection fee. Plus 3 delivery fees of £20 + VAT = £60 + VAT. TOTAL = £80 + VAT
